Sweet Peppers for Cold Intolerance?

In exercise, nutrition by Steven Kornweiss, MDLeave a Comment

Peppers naturally contain capsaicin and capsaicin-like compounds that have an affect on “metabolism.” One such effect is its ability to “turn on” special fat cells that are used to generate heat. I am interested in whether or not capsinoids can be used to improve cold-intolerance in athletes who must be able to adapt to various training and performance environments.
